Oregon Oasis

While some homeowners design their outdoor living spaces around entertaining or relaxing, this Oregon family had bigger thrills in mind. "We really had fun on this job," said Artisan designer Kevin Schaffer. "They have an active lifestyle and wanted to add a bit of fun and adventure to their property, so we pulled out all the stops." In addition to a football field and putting green, Artisan installed an in-ground trampoline and created a rocky cave for exploring.

Kevin designed the swimming pool with lots of rock outcroppings and natural-looking waterfalls. The pool feeds a stream that cascades down smaller boulders and flows under a flat stone bridge. Visitors cross the bridge to a spacious patio with a firepit and casita for late-night swim parties. The casita features brick pizza ovens and sleek kitchen appliances.

The result is a true oasis, where every day feels like a vacation.
