Central Oregon Mini Ranch

On the opposite side of the house, the landscape retained a more rustic feel, with a meandering stone path through a carefully constructed ravine. Climbing out of this miniature "canyon," one is rewarded with the cool splashing of a water feature and a jacuzzi tub for soaking under the starry skies.
The lake, noted on the initial site plan, took a pleasing shape under Kevin's hand. He designed a central water feature which pulls water from three different spillways for a natural effect. A rough rocky slab forms a natural casting pad for the avid fisherman. A deep fishing hole is conveniently nearby.
Kevin was particularly proud of the retaining wall Artisan built to unite the upper deck to the back patio. "We pulled in old snags and used 12'-14' boulders so it would look as if it had always been there," he recalls. The result, like the rest of the property's design, is naturally stunning.
